Skin Boosters
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are an advanced treatment approach in regenerative aesthetics. These biocompatible molecules—derived from purified salmon DNA—work by supporting tissue repair processes, supporting fibroblast activity, and enhancing hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality.
Unlike fillers or Botox, polynucleotides don’t add volume or paralyse muscles. Instead, they help improve skin quality over time, offering natural-looking, long-term rejuvenation.
All injectable treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment. Some treatments may require a prescription and will only be carried out following consultation with a qualified prescriber.

What Polynucleotides Can Treat:
- Under-eye hollows and dark circles
- Fine lines and crepey skin
- Skin laxity and poor texture
- Acne scarring
- Redness and inflammation (rosacea-prone skin)
- Sun-damaged, dehydrated or dull skin
- Early signs of ageing in the face, neck, and hands
Polynucleotides are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. They’re often used in combination with other treatments like PRP, microneedling, or skin boosters for enhanced results.
Aftercare & Recovery
Polynucleotide injections are minimally invasive with very little downtime. After treatment, you may notice:
- Mild redness or swelling at the injection sites
- Occasional small lumps (especially under the eyes) that typically settle within 24–72 hours
- Mild tenderness or bruising
DO:
- Gently cleanse and moisturise the area using non-active products
- Apply SPF 30+ daily
- Stay hydrated
- Allow your skin to rest and regenerate naturally
AVOID FOR 48–72 HOURS:
- Makeup or harsh skincare products
- Heat exposure (hot showers, saunas, steam rooms)
- Strenuous exercise
- Alcohol
Results build gradually over several weeks. A course of 3–4 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal regenerative effects, with maintenance every 6–9 months depending on your skin’s needs.
