AVOID FOR 3–5 DAYS:

  • Makeup, sun exposure, swimming, and sweating
  • Retinoids, exfoliants, or active skincare
  • Saunas or hot showers

2 WEEKS BEFORE:

  • No waxing, laser, or exfoliating treatments in the area.
24–48 HOURS BEFORE:
  • Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, and strenuous exercise.
  • Make sure your skin is free from active acne, cuts, or infections.
ON THE DAY:

Arrive with clean skin—no makeup or skincare.

Let us know about any changes in medications or health.

Microneedling is generally well tolerated when performed by trained professionals, but like all skin treatments, minor side effects may occur, such as:
