Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy

Natural regeneration powered by your own body.

PRP therapy—also known as the “Vampire Facial” when used for skin rejuvenation—is a regenerative treatment that uses your body’s own healing power to restore and revitalise skin and hair.

This cutting-edge procedure involves drawing a small amount of your blood, processing it in a centrifuge to extract the platelet-rich plasma, and then re-injecting it into targeted areas of the skin or scalp. Rich in growth factors, PRP stimulates collagen, elastin, and cellular repair—naturally.

What PRP Can Treat:

For Skin:
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Dull or uneven complexion
  • Skin laxity and texture
  • Dark under-eye circles
For Hair:
  • Thinning hair and early hair loss
  • Male and female pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia)
  • Postpartum hair shedding
  • Strengthening existing hair follicles

PRP can also be combined with microneedling for enhanced results in both skin and scalp treatments.

Preparing for Your PRP Appointment

For the most effective results and a smoother experience:

1 Week Before:
  • Avoid anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen and aspirin, unless prescribed.
  • Stop taking blood-thinning supplements (e.g. fish oil, vitamin E).
  • Minimise alcohol intake and stay hydrated.
24–48 Hours Before:
  • Increase water intake to ensure optimal blood quality.
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and heavy exercise.
On the Day:
  • Eat a light meal and drink plenty of water.
  • Avoid wearing makeup or using skincare products on the treatment area.
  • Let us know if you’ve recently been unwell or on antibiotics.

Aftercare & Recovery

PRP is a minimally invasive treatment with very little downtime. You may experience:

  • Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at injection sites
  • Temporary bruising or pinpoint bleeding
  • A feeling of tightness or warmth in the treated area
Do:
  • Stay well-hydrated for the next 48 hours
  • Use a gentle, hydrating cleanser and moisturiser
  • Apply SPF 30+ daily to protect your skin
  • Allow your skin or scalp to rest—natural regeneration begins over the next few days
Avoid for 48–72 Hours:
  • Hot showers, saunas, steam rooms
  • Heavy workouts or sweating
  • Makeup (for facial PRP)
  • Hair dye, harsh shampoos, or scalp treatments (for hair PRP)

Results appear gradually over weeks as your skin or hair regenerates. A course of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is typically recommended for best outcomes.

Possible Side Effects

PRP is considered very safe, as it uses your own blood. However, minor and temporary side effects can occur:

  • Swelling or redness
  • Bruising at injection or blood draw sites
  • Mild discomfort or tightness
  • Very rarely, infection or allergic reaction to added serums (if used)

We take every step to maintain sterility and safety throughout the procedure.

Regenerate from Within

PRP is a powerful, all-natural way to restore your skin’s radiance or stimulate hair growth—without synthetic chemicals or surgery. Whether you’re looking to rejuvenate tired skin or treat thinning hair, PRP offers a safe and effective solution backed by science.
